TBRI Training

Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) trainings address healing from trauma for church families, staff, volunteers, and more.

Children impacted by foster care, kinship care, and adoption experience unique challenges of adversity, early harm, toxic stress, and/or trauma.  Because of these experiences, children may display challenging behaviors while having difficulty trusting the loving adults in their lives.

Florida 1.27 helps caregivers and professionals successfully navigate these challenges by implementing TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®) through training sessions delivered by approved TRBI® Practitioners.

TBRI® is an evidence-based, trauma-informed intervention based on years of research by Dr. Karyn Purvis, Dr. David Cross and their colleagues at Texas Christian University.  This attachment-rich intervention is designed to meet the unique needs of children who have experienced trauma.
