Kristen has a huge heart for others, sharing “It’s always been about helping people for me, no matter what I’m doing.” Having spent time as a child in the foster care system, God has given her a unique understanding and passion for her role with Florida 1.27.

Kristen graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine, and quickly entered the world of marketing. She spent years building relationships, fundraising and strategically thinking - even coordinating volunteers for the Florida Special Olympics!

More than anything, Kristen loves interacting with people. She enjoys hearing people’s stories and connecting them to the mission of Florida 1.27, sharing, “My goal is to make a positive impact on as many people as I can, every single day.” 

People describe Kristen as kind, insightful, and encouraging - with a deep love for Jesus and immense gratitude for what He’s done in her life. She’s thrilled to be part of Florida 1.27, where the team has a servant mentality when it comes to interacting with others.

When Kristen isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, watching her favorite movie Elf (since she and Buddy the Elf both have such big hearts!), spending time with her husband Bob, and being "Mama" to their seven children: Cody, Brody, Josiah, Janae, Orion, Jocelynn, and Robin (plus their dog, Jaxy).
