Bring Them Home

YOU’RE INVITED TO OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISING DINNER: BRING THEM HOME!

THE WHAT

Bring Them Home will be an amazing evening for new and old friends to join in our mission by raising awareness and raising funds for Florida 1.27. We’ll share a meal at Steinbrenner Field’s Pavilion and then hear from International Children’s Advocate Peter Mutabazi on his experience as a single foster father.

THE WHY

Florida 1.27 exists to encourage and equip the community to provide a home for every child needing a family. Our annual fundraiser is your opportunity to join us in bringing life-changing intervention to vulnerable children in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.

THE DETAILS

There are two ways for you to join the fun:

  1. RSVP and Invite a Friend! We’d love for you and your family, friends, and neighbors to join us for this amazing evening.

  2. Help Sponsor the Event! If you or your business are looking for an opportunity to give back to the community in a big way, we’d love for you to consider helping sponsor our event.

PETER MUTABAZI

We’re excited to share that International Children’s Advocate Peter Mutabazi will be our keynote speaker for the evening. He is the founder of Now I Am Known – a corporation that supplies resources to encourage and affirm children.

A single father and foster dad, Mutabazi is a former street kid from Uganda who has worked for World Vision, Compassion International, and the Red Cross. He has appeared on media outlets such as The TODAY Show and Focus on the Family, and continues to be a passionate speaker.

Mutabazi is the author of Now I Am Known: How A Street Kid Turned Foster Dad Found Acceptance and True Worth. He currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
