Learn TBRI® with Florida 1.27

Florida 1.27 currently offers two TBRI® learning opportunities designed specifically for licensed foster parents and individuals actively pursuing foster parent licensure in Hillsborough County through our partnership with Children's Network of Hillsborough County (CNHC).

Whether you're just beginning to learn TBRI® or are ready for comprehensive caregiver training, these learning opportunities provide practical, relationship-based tools to help children and families thrive.

TBRI® Caregiver Training

Introduction

  • A 4-hour Introduction by Zoom

During this training, participants will be introduced to the core principles of TBRI® and gain practical tools they can begin using immediately. Together, we will explore how trauma, adversity, and attachment influence behavior and learn strategies for building trust, promoting regulation, and supporting children from hard places.

Schedule: Two (2) consecutive Tuesday evenings, 7–9 pm.

Length: 4 hours total (two 2-hour live Zoom sessions)

24-Hour Course

  • Saturdays In-Person

The TBRI® Saturday series is a comprehensive, learning experience that explores the Empowering, Connecting, and Correcting Principles of TBRI®. While the sessions are designed to complement one another, each Saturday also provides meaningful stand-alone learning. Participants are welcome to attend the full series or attend individual sessions that fit your schedule.

Schedule: Four (4) monthly Saturday sessions, 10:00 am-4:00 pm.

Length: 24 hours total (four 6-hour in person sessions)
